Dear Parents/Carers,
Sunflower Challenge
We will be taking part in ‘The Sunflower Challenge’ organised by Downs Syndrome UK during March. Please see the link below for more information. The children will be bringing home a little envelope containing sunflower seeds next week for you to plant. Please email us photos of how your plant progresses so that we can share them in nursery.

Junk Modelling
Please can we have any bottle tops, lids and corks you have at home for our junk modelling table. Thank you.
Safeguarding
Following recent media reports about safeguarding at a Bright Horizons nursery in London, we want to reassure you that children’s safety, health, and well‑being remain our top priority. We are confident in our safeguarding procedures. Our Intimate Care and Safeguarding Policies are available on the CNF website.
Please remember that mobile phone use is not permitted in the nursery for staff or parents. Staff must keep their phones securely in the staffroom and may not take them into nursery rooms.
If you have any safeguarding questions or concerns, please contact me or the Assistant Head at your school.
The St Andrew the Less Community Project
Please find below a survey to establish the future of a building very close to Brunswick Nursery. The St Andrew the Less Community Project is working towards saving the deconsecrated, 13th century church of St Andrew the Less. There are more details and pictures of it on their website: www.standrewtheless.org
“In saving it we are trying to find a use for it – and one of the things we would like to do is make it family friendly. But we need community support for that and so we have designed a survey to gather information. The more respondents we have, the more success we will have with funders, and in turn be able to do something really great.”
Here is the survey:
