Christmas Post Box
The special delivery Brunswick Christmas post box is now in the entrance hall for the children’s Christmas cards to each other. As there are a number of children who share a given name, please make sure you put the recipient child’s name and their keyworker group on the envelope before posting. There will be a list of keyworker groups on top of the post box for reference.
Party Time
During their last sessions of the term each keyworker group will be having a Christmas party to which a special visitor has been invited. If your child has any issues with Father Christmas, please say and they can be accommodated – we don’t want to frighten anybody! Please note the party’s are not for parents they will take place during group time. See dates/times below.
Forest School Donations
Following our email sent earlier this week we would just like to clarify that we are not expecting parents to donate £30 towards Forest School visits we would be very grateful for any amount that you can afford to give. You can pay cash/cheque at the office or by bank transfer (contact the office for bank details). Please note these donations are voluntary.
Christmas Jumper Day
A reminder that we will be having our Christmas Jumper Day on 2 days next week. The first will be on Wednesday 13 December and the second on Friday 15 December – this will enable all the children to take part. This is in aid of Save the Children charity so a small donation in our charity box (which will be on the reception counter) would be very much appreciated. It would be great to see all the children and staff in their festive jumpers!!
Brunswick Activity Day
We are having our Christmas Activity Day on Wednesday 13 December parents are very welcome to stay and join in the activities planned and to listen to the group singing (timing below). Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
10.30am – Bumblebees and Grasshoppers
11.00am – Dragonflies and Caterpillars
2.30pm – Butterflies and Ladybirds
3.00pm – Beetles and Centipedes
Friends of Brunswick
We will be serving hot drinks and bakes at the Christmas Activity Day on Wednesday 13th. We would very much appreciate your contributions of home made or bought festive bakes for this. Please bring them to the rainbow room on the day. We will also be raffling a fabulous festive hamper – £1 for a strip of 5 tickets. We look forward to seeing you.
